Pink makes everything more lovely, and pink hot chocolate is certainly no exception! This Valentine's Day I went in search of some pink cocoa to make a few gifts I had in mind, and to my surprise it was really hard to find! The few I did manage to find weren't exactly the healthiest, so I decided to create my own mix using clean ingredients — and it just so happens to be dairy free & vegan, too!

This pink hot chocolate turned out even better than I expected, with notes of berries & cream that are oh so sweet and yummy. It checks all my boxes for looking good, tasting good, and being (semi ;) ) good for me!
The pink is actually really pretty — soft yet still vibrant. It's a treat for the eyes and the tastebuds, and is extremely festive for Valentine's Day, a Galentine's Day party, or even a Wednesday afternoon. (On Wednesdays we drink pink!)

This mix is also really easy to make once you have all the ingredients on hand. I will admit they might be a tad exotic (nothing Amazon can't handle!) but you can make quite a bit of this mix once you invest in the ingredients. It's totally worth it for a sweet V-Day treat as delightful as pink cocoa!

To make this delightfully pink hot chocolate mix, you will need:
vegan white chocolate* (ground up in a food processor/blender)
sugar
pink himalayan sea salt
For the raspberry and strawberry powder, you can also grind up freeze-dried raspberries & strawberries if they are a little easier to find.

Once you have all your ingredients the rest is simple — just mix them all together (use a food processor/blender to get a fine-ish, evenly mixed powder), then use 3 TBSP and your favorite non-dairy milk to make the pink cocoa (blend together, then heat on the stove).

Pink Hot Chocolate Mix in a Mug Gift
This mix also makes a super cute gift for Valentine's Day (or any day...). Add 3/4 c. of the mix to a mason jar*, then top with heart shaped marshmallows and conversation hearts. Add a cutie tag (free printable here!) tied with festive yarn/ribbon and package with a mug or some cute paper cups.

I found the recipe below to make about 36 TBSP, so at 3 TBSP per cup of cocoa, that's 12 servings. If you do 3/4 c. of the mix in each jar (4 servings), one batch will get you 3 jars. You can easily double (or triple) the recipe, though, depending on how much you need.
